The Barn, Gamblesby, is one of three sandstone cottages grouped round a large courtyard opposite St John’s church in the picturesque village of Gamblesby, half way between Penrith & Alston on the famous A686 scenic route to Northumberland and Hadrian’s Wall.

Downstairs are two bedrooms; one double and one twin and a shower room with w.c.

Upstairs there is a very large open plan kitchen/living/dining room with original beams and plenty of natural light. There are beautiful views from upstairs to the hills of the North Pennines.

The Barn is fully equipped, including CD/radio/cassette player, video, washing machine and dryer and has been awarded 4 stars by the English Tourism Council.
