Many guests return because of our resident chef of fifteen years, Mr. Barrie Garton. Barrie is a member of The Masterchefs and has consistently received AA rosettes for the high standing of his cuisine over the past ten years. He describes his menus as imaginative and varied using local produce whenever possible.

Our wine list has been shortlisted “Wine list of the year” by The AA and also awarded North West Wine List by Les Routiers 2002.
