Bridgelands cottage is a charming 18th Century cottage positioned in a quiet off road location close to the heart of the unspoilt South Lakeland village of Cark-in-Cartmel.
Furnished and equipped to a good standard with oak beams, antiques, grand father clock, and roaring log fire.
Through the stable style doors the cottage opens up into its main focal point, the wonderful large kitchen, and dining area with 2 long breakfast bars. The kitchen has a built in oven and gas hob, separate fridge and freezer, automatic washing machine and dishwasher, microwave and everything you could possibly want to make your stay a very comfortable one.
Full central heating is at your control for whenever you want to use it and there is a combi-boiler for instant hot water. Heating, gas, and electric are all included in the price.
The lounge has 2 sofas set around the roaring log fire and French doors that look out into the private, enclosed, south facing garden. There is a remote control TV, DVD and books galore.
Upstairs on the 1st floor are 2 single bedrooms and
a modern bathroom with bath and power shower. The main double bedroom
is located on the 3rd floor.
Situated in the beautiful Cartmel valley with its lush green fields, quiet, leafy lanes, and gentle rolling hills, yet only a minute’s stroll to either of the 2 good pubs in the village. The cobbled streets and 12th century priory village of Cartmel lies just 1½ miles to the north and Lake Windermere is a 10 minute drive. |
