South Lakes Grove Cottages, Ambleside Grove Corner
Grove Corner is a larger cottage for two people who prefer to "spread out" more! The layout in Grove Corner is - a large hallway and cloakroom area leading to a double bedroom, large enough for a family room. there is a shower room en-suite with shaver point and hair dryer. The stairs lead up to the lounge which has a lovely pine boarded floor with feature fire place and log effect stove for that cosy feeling. A wealth of original beams and exposed walls gives lots of character to the cottage and tells of its history. The kitchen/dining room is pretty with a cottage style wooded layout and excellent facilities; including a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric hob, over/grill and toaster. We have a laundry and drying service for your use.
The views are wonderful - to the hills of Wansfell at the back and from the lounge The Old Man of Coniston and the Langdales makes a welcome change from the installed Sky TV" and Videos which are provided - perhaps some music on the CD player would be nice!
