The Knoll is a beautiful late Victorian country house set in its own grounds nestling in woodland at the southern end of Lake Windermere. We are just five minutes walk from the Lakeside pier on Windermere and within easy driving distance of many Lakeland attractions.
The house has many original period features including an ornate staircase with stained glass windows. The dining room and guest lounge both have open fires, perfect for those chilly evenings where you can relax with a glass of wine and good food.
The cosy guest lounge is equipped with a well stocked bar holding an excellent range of wines, spirits and liqueurs. We also have an abundance of board games, videos and guidebooks to keep you busy during your stay.
