Kyloes
were the original Highland Cattle that were bred on the Western Isles
and then driven over the short channels of waters called Kyles - ie
Kyle of Localsh - to then be herded to trysts (cattle marts) at Crief
and Perth.
Innovation isn't a word usually associated with pub
food, but at Kyloes we believe we have a truly innovative approach to
what we offer our customers. Naturally, we only serve food that has
the freshest of ingredients and where we can we use local produce grown
or reared within the Eden Valley by farmers who we know and trust.
For some items such as fish we can to cast our net
a little wider, but we still maintain the same high standards of flavour
and freshness.
