Bessyboot near Seatoller
This image was taken in the early summer,
as can be seen by the buttercups adorning this meadow near
Seatoller. The fell in the initial opening of the scene is
called Bessyboot; bessyboot rises up to the right of this over
the tree tops. The River Derwent flows through the valley and
the oak and beech lined banks can be walked along from Seatoller
as far as Grange further down the valley – a distance
of around 2 miles.
