North Lakes
Latrigg
Latrigg, at 1204ft, is the relatively small
fell that overlooks Keswick from its northern end. From the
town it is easily recognisable with trees covering its lower
half and the massive Skiddaw dwarfing it behind. Being so close
to the town means that is accessible to most, providing excellent
views on the way up and from the top over Derwentwater and
the Northern Fells. There is a network of paths going around
the fell and even a choice of paths to take you to the summit.
