Grasmere - Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage, the small white building, was
home to William Wordsworth from 1799 – 1808 and he lived
here with his sister Dorothy whilst producing many of his best-known
works. The cottage is still as much as it was when Wordsworth
left; it is now owned by the National Trust and is open to
the public.
