Buttermere - Looking toward Fleetwith Pike

This famous view, looking out over Buttermere, is often seen on postcards and calendars. On a still day Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks are reflected as a near perfect image. The ‘mere’, only 5 minutes from the village, can easily be walked around - a distance of about 4 miles.
