Rannerdale Knotts
The Rannerdale Knotts lie at the northerly
edge of a small and pleasant fell overlooking Rannerdale Farm
and Crummock Water. The fell can be either circumnavigated,
going initially up Squat Beck in the valley then down into
Buttermere village, or, for the more energetic, can be scaled
using a footpath that begins from the lakeside road.
