St Bees and the Coast to Coast

St Bees is the starting point of Wainwright’s Coast to Coast – a 190 km walk across the width of some of England’s most inspiring scenery, to Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast. It begins here, on the shores of The Irish Sea, and begins in a northerly direction, following the cliff tops towards Whitehaven.
