Wasdale
This view of Wasdale, looks down towards
Wasdale Head, with Wastwater, just tucked around the corner.
Looking up the valley, Sty Head Pass cuts between Lingmell
on the right hand side and Great Gable on the left. The path
drops past Sty Head Tarn then heads down into the Borrowdale
valley. Scafell Pike (3205ft/978m), the highest mountain in
England lies just behind the shadowed slopes on the other side
of the valley.
