Marry in the magnificence of Muncaster Castle, home of the Pennington family. Muncaster is the perfect setting for your special day. We have a license for five of our rooms where civil ceremonies can be carried out, each room has its own individual characteristics and would suit parties of varying sizes or if you are married at a local church we can arrange for you to entertain your guests in style after the ceremony.

The Castle Front Lawn (seen here) is a perfect location for wedding photographs. There is plenty of space for larger groups and also more intimate backdrops for shots of the Bride and groom and smaller family groups. Normally private to the Castle, the family is happy for wedding parties to use this exclusive area. In fine weather drinks may be served on the lawn.
