Muncaster Castle — Dining room
The Main Dining Room (seen here) boasts dark green and gilt leather wall hangings. The large and impressive sideboard is dressed with family silver. Bay windows over look the Ghyll with its massed banks of rhododendron and collection of oriental trees. If you use this room for your wedding breakfast it can seat between 10 and 34 for a formal meal all seated at the walnut table, which is made from a single tree. The table also looks superb laid for a buffet. This room can also be used with a combination of tables each seating up to 10 guests.
