Winder Hall Country House Hotel near Buttermere is a historic manor house in the peaceful Lakeland village of Low Lorton in the English Lake District. If you are looking for a really intimate and personal place to celebrate a wedding, Winder Hall could be the place you‚re looking for.

Because we want each occasion to be special, we only have five or six weddings here a year. We don't offer a wedding package - you let us know what you want and we organise it for you. That way, your wedding really is unique for you and special for us as well.

Both the Lounge and the Dining Room have been licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and are ideal for small groups. The Lounge can accommodate 10-15 guests. The Dining Room (shown on the right) can accommodate 15-50 guests.
