If you are looking for a church service, Lorton church is a short walk across the field from the house.
If you can imagine yourself in a wedding dress and wellington boots (it has been done!), a wedding in Lorton would be perfect.
Mark and Jacqui at The Wheatsheaf‚ pub (a minute's walk from Winder Hall) will happily provide soup, beer and sandwiches before the ceremony - an ideal way for guests to gather before the service.
What about having a small family dinner in the Dining Room the night before, followed by a marquee reception after the ceremony.
